In the course of the new line B 90n, the structure at Stadtilm crosses the Ilmaue and the B 87n.
The project
The structure was erected in 17 construction phases, its total span is 630 m. Tendons with a subsequent BBV L22 bond were installed in the single-web T-beam.
These were manufactured entirely according to the needs of the client. The tendons, each spanning two construction phases, were prefabricated in the manufacturing plant and delivered wound on drums. For all other tendons, the prestressing steel was shot into the previously laid ducts on the construction site.
The prestressing steel work started in December 2015 and was successfully completed in May 2017.
