The commune Örebro has planned a new water Tank reservoir to run the water pressure over the city under stable conditions.
NCC Sverige AB was awarded with the tank construction including ground and concrete works and has chosen BBV Systems to perform the post tensioning works.
The project
The water tank consists of two half circles, each with a height of 18 m and a radius of 19 m.
A building with technical installations is located in between the two half circles.
The volume of the two tanks sums up to approximately 18.000 m³.
Services in detail
BBV has delivered and installed BBV L7, L9 and L12 tendons in vertical and horizontal direction into the tank walls. The works have been performed on site by BBV’s special skilled personnel.
