The project
Greece's only LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal is located on the island of Revithoussa, which is located in the Gulf of Pachi approx. 45 km west of Athens. As part of the second expansion phase of the terminal, a third LNG tank was built in 2017/2018 to increase the storage capacity to 225,000m³.

In this demanding project, the post-tensioning work was carried out by specialists from BBV Systems in cooperation with the local partner company TENSA; a total of 400 tons of prestressing steel were successfully installed.
