Saggrenda Brücke, Norwegen
Short description
A section of the E134 includes the approx. 300 m long Saggrenda Bridge, which spans 10 fields and rests on a 78 m long and 21 m high concrete arch over the Kobberbergselva river.
The project
As part of the Norwegian National Transport Plan (NTP) 2010-2019, the E134 was rebuilt on the 13.2 km long section Damasen - Saggrenda to improve access to the village of Kongsberg and to better road safety.
Starting in 2017, BBV Systems installed approx. 200 t of prestressing steel for the longitudinal prestressing of the Saggrenda Bridge; the prestressing work was successfully completed in 2018.
