TG Kaufland Möhringen
Short description
In the underground car park, considerable pollution was found in some cases, particularly in the crack area in the ceiling above the 2nd basement level.
The project
The underground car park has 280 parking spaces on two parking levels. Year of construction: 2000/2001 Total area basement level 1–2: approx. 7,400 m²
According to German regulations, a competent planner is required to replace chloride-contaminated concrete above a defined limit value with a comparatively high energy consumption.
By using this method, the corrosion of the steel reinforcement, despite the chloride load, is reduced to such an extent that it is techn. is negligible. The cathodic corrosion protection system was designed and implemented in accordance with the specifications and regulations of DIN EN ISO 12696.
In the floor area, a titanium system in the form of ribbon anodes was used as the anode system because of the high current capacity in combination with a long service life and high resistance to chlorides.
A titanium system in the form of strip anodes was also used as the anode system on the wall and column bases.
In the area of the ceiling above the first floor and on the joists, drilling anodes made of titanium were used as discrete anodes, both horizontally and vertically.
The construction project is in the city center. The applicable immission control regulations had to be complied with.
