The Tresfjord Bridge with a length of 1,290 meters is part of the approximately 20 km long extension of the E 136 motorway between Åndalsnes and Ålesund.
The project
The bridge spans the Tresfjord between the towns of Vestnes and Vikebukt. The superstructure of the main bridge with a maximum span of 160 meters was built from two pillars using the cantilever method. The two approach bridges are built on a feed scaffold with a standard span of 60 meters.
