In Copenhagen, waterproof construction pits were created in the street area in the immediate vicinity of residential buildings for the new construction of the underground car parks “Under Elmene” and “Leifsgade”.
The project
The overlapping bored pile walls of the approx. 14 m deep construction pits were partially secured against “pressing groundwater” with BBV strand anchors (11 strands, lengths of 27.00 m; test load 2.4 MN).
Approx. 300 BBV injection piles were required to secure the building floors against buoyancy.
