The project
In northeastern Turkey, on the road connection between Yusufeli and Bayburt, the Nurol-Gülsan consortium is building the Yusufeli bridge. The 5-span bridge with a total length of 630 m will be erected using the cantilever method, the largest span is 175 m. The superstructure will be constructed using cantilever carriages installed on all 4 pillars, the piers being up to a considerable 153 m high. The systems BBV L19 and BBV L31 according to ETA-05/0202 are used for the prestressing steel work, the work is carried out by BBV's local partner specialist company Diviger Yapı Teknoloji A.Ş.
